Confidential information means information that is intended for named recipients only. Not for internal spreading or external release. Confidential information comes in different shapes and forms, digital or physical. It may involve records, reports, contracts, financial and employee data, investigations, lawsuits, creative work (music, films, software, games) intellectual property, or new business plans or products.
